Hack Reactor Announces Acquisition of MakerSquare

In what is a sure sign of coming consolidation in the e-learning for computer programming industry, Hack Reactor announces its acquisition of MakerSquare, a leading coding school with presence in both San Francisco and Austin.  This move by Hack Reactor represents a significant development in its business model – namely, the introduction of its “extension school” program. The goal of this program is “to create a network of schools that empower students and meet market demand for engineers.”

MakerSquare will be operated independently of Hack Reactor, while adopting and adapting the JavaScript programming curriculum developed by Hack Reactor.
