DIY.org Turns Kids into Makers

In the DIY.org community, 8 year olds can become Makers, creating projects such as Minecraft building or jewelry. Children earn badges after completing challenges or learning new skills, which they can upload via iOS app. Similar to Instructables and other adult-oriented DIY communities, DIY.org gears itself to the young generation.
