University of South Florida Library to Lend Drones
Starting this fall, the University of South Florida will lend unmanned aircrafts to students for school projects. The drones, which are capable of taking pictures and video, cost $1,500 each and were purchased using leftover funds from a grant for new technology. Students will have to take a training course before using the drones and will be supervised while flying them.
