U. of Michigan Professor Open Sources MOOC Teaching Materials
Looking to teach Python but don’t know where to get the course materials? Charles Severance has got you covered. Professor Severance, who teaches Programming for Everyone on the Coursera platform is making his learning materials available to all. Teachers and students can find them under a Creative Commons license on the Open Michigan site. There, they will have open access to a syllabus, lecture videos, software, and a course textbook authored by Severance.
According to Campus Technology, 26,000 students have registered since the launch about two weeks ago.
