Online school Career Step now offering computer tech training

Computer technician training courses will now be available via online school, Career Step.  The program was developed by  to prepare students for the A+ certification exams offered by the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA).  Students will learn about hardware, software, networking, security, operating systems, and troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Upon graduation, students will receive two CompTIA A+ exam vouchers.

“We are very proud to launch our new Computer Technician program as it is the first Career Step course that prepares students for careers in the rapidly growing, professional technology space,” Career Step COO Mark Thomas, the executive leading program development said in a press release. “Career Step’s expert-designed, online training model lends itself especially well to careers in the technology space, and upon graduation from this new program students will be prepared for CompTIA A+ certification.”

The Career Step Computer Technician program includes 230 hours of curriculum and can be completed in three months.
