Infographic: Students Proficient in Technology but Lack Problem Solving Skills.

Three years of data collected from a 21st Century Skills Assessment illustrate that elementary and middle school students are comfortable using technology but lack research, information fluency and problem solving skills. Some interesting stats of the students surveyed:

  • 34% can process data and report results
  • 33% can analyze data to make informed decisions
  • 72% practice safe use of information technology
