CodeHS launches Indiegogo campaign to integrate computer science into schools & districts nationwide

CodeHS, an online program that aims to provide an easy way for high school students to wade into the waters of computer science, has launched an Indiegogo campaign in an ambitious attempt to raise over $100k by December 21st.

Part of both the StartX and K12 incubators, Code HS was founded by Stanford students Jeremy Keeshin and Zach Galant, who say that should the campaign be successful, the funds will allow them to offer the initial CodeHS program to schools for free by covering the costs of live tutors, further development, and integration of the platform into participating schools. So far, they’ve raised over 13k.
