ASCD launches new iPad app for educators
ASCD has launched a new, free app for iPad bringing professional development content to educators anywhere.
With the new app, dubbed “ASCD for iPad,” educators who have purchased ASCD books can access that content on their iPads. Additionally, members can access their members only content such as Educational Leadership, and Education Update and Policy Priorities, and premium online members will have the option of automatically syncing their ASCD e-books to their iPad.
“ASCD is excited to offer our award-winning professional development content to educators through this new app for iPad,” said ASCD Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Gene R. Carter. “Today’s educators are continuously improving their practices, and this new app makes effective professional development content available anywhere, anytime in popular formats. We look forward to making even more content available to educators through this app in the future.”
Free electronic versions of Educational Leadership, Education Update and Policy Priorities, as well as a free book excerpt are also available by downloading the app.
The ASCD for iPad App is available for free from the App Store on iPad or at www.itunes.com/appstore. Once downloaded, sign in with your ASCD username and password and your ASCD purchases and benefits automatically appear.
