Udemy rolls out new “dummyproof” course creation platform for teachers
Udemy has made a move to further break away from the current pack of online video education providers by releasing a new “dummyproof” publishing platform aimed at teachers to help them create their own quality online courses.
Along with Khan Academy, Coursera, Udacity, & StraighterLine to name a few, Udemy’s goal is to bring quality, affordable education and learning tools to anyone who wants them. However, Udemy differs from the other residents of the online video education space in that it allows for anyone to create, host, offer, and/or take an online class.
The introduction of this new course creation platform makes what was already pretty easy for technophile educators that much easier, and makes the task of online course creation and management less scary for the technophobic teach.
