Formerly exclusive to mobile devices, Upward Mobility’s ed apps now available in Mac App Store

Mobile ed app creator Upward Mobility, has, over a ten week period, launched seventeen new apps in the Mac App Store, primarily focusing on its most popular titles to date.

“We realize that not everyone wants to study on their mobile phones. That’s why we decided to release the same affordable products on a different screen for a new audience,” says Ted Chan, founder of Upward Mobility.

Since its founding, the company launched over 125 titles for iPhone, Palm, BlackBerry, WP7, and Android mobile devices. “This initial Mac App Store launch is the first time we don’t announce a mobile app launch,” notes Chan. “This is a big change for us.”

Earlier in February, Upward Mobility reached the 150,000 app sale milestone.

“We anticipate adding about a dozen more popular Upward Mobility titles to the Mac App Store in the future,” adds Samantha Tanzer, Upward Mobility product development associate.

App topics launched include EMT, IT Certification, Nursing, Veterinary, Six Sigma, Project Management, Social Work, Personal Training, and many others.

All 17 titles are now available for download on the Mac App Store. Prices range from $4.99 to $9.99
