Cloud based K-12 platform Schoology appoints Brad Baird Chief Revenue Officer
Schoology,a cloud-based, collaborative learning platform for K-12 classrooms, today announced the hire of Brad Baird as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In his role as CRO, Mr. Baird will be responsible for the strategic direction of the company, ensuring its daily operations are in alignment with the company’s long-term goals.

A professional of the education technology industry since its early days in the 1990s, Mr. Baird has held executive leadership titles, sales and marketing positions and has worked as an industry consultant for both education startups and established vendors in the education marketplace. He comes to Schoology from International Learning Corporation (ILC), where he served as Chief Operating Officer (COO). There, Mr. Baird was responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s operations including the development of product and marketing strategies to increase the effectiveness and scalability of “Response to Intervention” and diagnostic assessment technology and processes for K-12 education. His efforts resulted in the acquisition of ILC by Northwest Evaluation Association in 2011.
Prior to his time at ILC, Mr. Baird was one of the founding members of GlobalScholar. During his tenure of more than a decade with the company, he served as COO and VP of Sales and Marketing at both GlobalScholar and its predecessor, Excelsior Software Inc. During this time, Mr. Baird was responsible for managing all revenue channels including sales, renewals and support.
