Germany based online tutoring platform Sofatutor.com has raised a new round of funding said to be in the “mid single-digit million Euro” range.”
The round was led by Acton Capital Partners, with participation from existing investors J.C.M.B. Beteiligungs GmbH and “VC Fonds Kreativwirtschaft Berlin” (managed by IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft).
Founded in 2008, subscription based Sofatutor provides learning content through over 7,000 videos and offers interactive content complete with a live chatroom where professional teachers are available to answer questions to help their 30,000 users with homework and exam preparation.
