Funds for Learning releases new version of e-rate manager
Funds For Learning, the nation’s largest E-rate compliance firm, today announced the latest update to its award-winning E-rate Manager® service. E-rate Manager for Mobile allows iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry users the opportunity to quickly and easily track funding data on the go.
Building on the success of the E-rate Manager for iPhone application, the mobile version of Erate Manager offers users simple site navigation and instant access to the most uptodate Erate funding information.
“Taking the positive feedback we received from the Erate Manager for iPhone app, we expanded the mobile interface to other platforms – making it easier than ever for applicants to keep track of their Erate information.” said Brian Stephens, senior technology and regulatory analyst at Funds For Learning. “Whether in the office or on location at different schools within a district, Erate Manager for Mobile gives users a solution that provides convenient 24-hour access to their E-rate data.”
The mobile enhancement for E-rate Manager also simplifies and expedites the search function from mobile devices. Users can quickly search their information by entering data points such as funding years, service categories or service provider. The search function has been optimized for mobile users, enabling users to search for data about service categories within specific funding years by simply searching the year and service category acronym. For example, a search for “2011 IA” will display Funding Year 2011 Internet Access funding requests.
“Because it carries the Erate Manager name, the mobile version not only includes instant access to the most up-to-date E-rate data, but also simple and quick navigation,” said Stephens. “Erate Manager for Mobile offers seamless flexibility and ease of use for Erate applicants.”
Mobile users will need to have an active E-rate Manager account in order to access the information. For more information about how E-rate Manager is a total compliance solution, please visit www.FundsForLearning.com.
