GuideK12 and Excensus agree to strategic development partnership

GuideK12™, provider of geovisual analytics for the education marketplace is pleased to announce an exclusive, strategic software development partnership with Excensus LLC.  This announcement cements an established working arrangement between the two companies, allowing for the continued, rapid development and deployment of the next generation of tools for GuideK12. Based in Minnesota, both parties view this partnership as the pathway to providing educators with the future of geovisual analytical tools, shaping the future of resource optimization and planning for school districts nation-wide.

Excensus is a national provider of web-based demographic mapping and analysis solutions for its government and educational clients.  With this agreement, the Excensus technology will be used exclusively in support of new cutting-edge GuideK12 product development in the educational market.  In addition to its work with GuideK12, Excensus is the principal developer of the US Census Bureau’s OnTheMap™ web mapping tool.  This data analysis tool has received awards for innovation from both the United Nations and the US Department of Commerce.  With OnTheMap™, customers are able to define a custom geographic area anywhere in the U.S., and obtain instant access to detailed maps, graphs, and reports profiling employment and commuting patterns in that area.
