Former Flip Video execs take know-how to crowdsourced educational video platform, Knowmia
Ariel Braunstein and Scott Kabat are veterans of Pure Digital Technologies, makers of the popular Flip Video line of camcorders, and are now taking that experience to the growing role of video in online education with the development of new video platform Knowmia.
Launched today, the San Francisco based Knowmia is a crowdsourced video platform (that already includes over 7,000 videos!) that aims to help teachers find and create online video lessons and improve a student’s learning experience.
