Skillshare launches hybrid class model
Since it’s launch last April, startup Skillshare’s website has been focused on being a platform on which anyone could organize an offline class to teach anything.
This Tuesday, Skillshare started blurring the line between online and offline teaching when it introduced a new hyrbid class format that aims to create a learning environment where teachers become facilitators and students, at times, become each other’s teachers. The classes have both an online component that includes all the bells and whistles one might expect from a modern online learning platform, plus an option for students who live near each other to meet periodically.
