Most popular field of study among online students? Business, reveals report
A recent report about online learning in 2012 reveals that one out of every three students who enroll in an online education program choose business as their primary field of study. According to the report, 34% of respondents said they’re either already studying or plan to study in the field of business. Health professions and social sciences rounded out the rop three most popular areas of study, with 16% reporting they are currently studying or plan to study in each discipline.
The report, done by The Learning House, Inc. and Aslanian Market Research, included survey responses from 1,500 current and prospective online students nationwide.
