English language learning startup Open English raises additional $43M

Online learning platform Open English, a startup that teaches non-English speakers the language and how to speak fluently, today announced that it has raised $43 million in venture funding, with the intent on expanding its presence in markets in Brazil and South America. This third round of funding, led by New York firm Insight Venture Partners, was preceeded by two rounds in 2010 and 2011 that raised 6 million.
