How the upstart Coursera might profit from free courses

Coursera was launched just this past fall by Stanford faculty members Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller.  Since it’s launch, the Mountain View, CA based company has raised over $20 million and partnered with Stanford, Princeton, University of Michigan, and Penn State, among others, to offer premium online courses – free.  So, what’s the point?  Do Ng and Koller have any intention of making any money?  How?
