New Mexico State U takes course design to the cloud
New Mexico State University (http://www.nmsu.edu) today announced that it is adopting SoftChalk Cloud to enhance its content authoring and development capabilities. SoftChalk Cloud is the latest content authoring and repository product from award-winning e-learning software provider SoftChalk, LLC (http://www.softchalk.com).
NMSU has used SoftChalk content authoring products since 2009 to enhance blended and online courses, fostering an innovative, learner-centered approach to course design. The university’s Online Course Improvement Team made the decision to move to SoftChalk Cloud because working in the cloud enables users to quickly access their content, revise their SoftChalk learning objects and easily share their work.
SoftChalk Cloud retains all of the features and functions NMSU currently enjoys, particularly dynamic interoperability and the ability to quickly and efficiently organize text and multimedia in a visually appealing way. Plus, SoftChalk Cloud is easily compatible with almost any LMS, including Canvas to which NMSU recently migrated.
