Southern U Baton Rouge launches new online degree
Southern University Baton Rouge (SUBR) and Education Online Services Corporation are pleased to announce the launch of a new online degree: the Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA). The online degree is housed within the Department of Public Administration which is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration.
According to Education Online Services Chairman and CEO, Ezell Brown, “the EMPA prepares graduates to examine global aspects of public administration through specific analytical, managerial, and theoretical lenses which training students in management communication skills and policy analysis. As public policy issues become more complex, the demand for trained policy analysts capable of both quantifying and operationally executing procedural solutions has grown.” Development of leadership skills is a central theme in all EMPA courses.
