Online autism tool Skills adds new features

Skills, an online autism solution based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and intended for individuals involved in the assessment and treatment of autistic children, now includes a feature for challenging behavior, its creator, The Center for Autism and Related Disorders has announced.

The principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)  have been proven to be the most effective autism treatment and is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the U.S. Surgeon General.

“We are proud to add this new feature to the Skills® program because it gives users an even greater resource for autism intervention and it focuses on improving efficiency and effectiveness. Users are led to choose evidence-based and least intrusive interventions and can create a BIP in minutes!”, Skills® Director, Adel Najdowski, PhD, BCBA-D said in a press release. “The Skills® program’s focus on teaching new skills coupled now with this new feature to deal with challenging behavior truly offers global access to tools for designing comprehensive, top-quality ABA-based intervention programs.”
