Online Institute for International School Leadership launches

Registration is now open for the Institute for International School Leadership, of which the launch was announced in a press release yesterday.  The institute, a collaborative effort between the Association for the Advancement of International Education and Performance Learning Systems, is an initiative to prepare educators for positions in international schools, and consists of eight online courses that aim to teach fundamental components unique to international school guidance.  The courses offer graduate credit leading to a masters degree, are available a la carte or as part of a certificate program, and will launch in September of this year.

“The goal of the Institute is to advance the preparation and continuing professional development of leaders in international schools. This initiative is designed to deliver critically important knowledge from experienced international school leaders to assist in the development and growth of currently-serving as well as aspiring school leaders,” Elsa Lamb, AAIE Executive Director said.

The Institute courses will be delivered via 3rd Learning’s online delivery system, “The Quad®,” which was custom-designed for this initiative.
