Cengage to provide discounted e-Textbooks to CSU students

California State University (CSU) and Cengage Learning today announced a partnership to provide discounted eTextbooks to students.

Cengage Learning, a leading global provider of print and digital teaching, learning and research solutions, announced an agreement with CSU, the nation’s largest university system, to provide students with discounted eTextbooks as part of the Affordable Learning Solutions campaign.

This three-year contract is one of the largest digital resources agreements signed by a university system and will allow more than 400,000 students on 23 California campuses to access Cengage Learning eTextbooks at a substantial cost savings.

“We are always looking at how we can best connect our faculty and students to the most engaging educational content at the best price,” CSU senior director of academic technology services Gerard L. Hanley, PhD., said in a press release. “Our agreement with Cengage Learning is a win for the CSU system, for the publishers, and, most importantly, for the students.”
